PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
NOBLE KIDS is a BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM dedicated to providing safe and affordable licensed childcare and enrichment to all children attending our program. We will support parents with the necessary tools to assist in raising children with good self-esteem and positive goals for the future.

Our NOBLE KIDS team will provide the following with the emphasis on all children reaching their highest potential in academic success:

• Homework assistance
• Nutritious snacks
• The arts
• Physical activities

The children we serve are on elementary school campuses and range from kindergarten to 5th grade.

Directors will be responsible for the over all-planning of daily activities. This will be accomplished through the use of their advanced educational goals and promoting the NOBLE KIDS program.

The teacher and teacher aides will assist in all aspects of the programming component.

The working hours include before school care beginning at 6:30am to 8:30am with a split shift beginning at 1pm to 6:30pm. When school is not in session NOBLE KIDS will operate from 6:30am to 6:30pm in two 6½-hour shifts.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
DIRECTOR

A Director shall have the following credentials:

• A Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development with one (1) year of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare;
Or

• An Associate Arts degree in Child Development with two (2) years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare;
Or

• Twelve (12) college units with six (6) units in early childhood courses and may substitute six (6) units in related core units related to school age children and three (3) units in Administration. Teaching experience of four (4) years in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare.


TEACHER

A Teacher shall have the following credentials:

• Twelve (12) units in early childhood college units but may substitute six (6) of the units from school age or related course.

• Six (6) months teaching experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare.

• A teacher may begin employment with six (6) units completed.


TEACHER AIDE

• A teacher aide shall be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
REQUIREMENTS
All candidates are required to submit the following prior to commencing employment:

• A valid CA driver’s license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Proof of current Tuberculosis test
• Live Scan fingerprint clearance
• Completion of the 15-hour childcare course in CPR, First Aid and Preventative Health

        (please fill out and save the form. you can save data typed into the form.)
• Provide a resume and cover letter of introduction describing three (3) ways in which you will benefit our program
• Two (2) letters of recommendation
• An original college transcript.
